Why do the U.S.M.C have the M24 SWS (Sniper Weapon System)...When in real life thay use M40A3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The M40 is a WIP, however not really the most urgent of things as the difference is primarily asthetic.

That attitude in no way makes us want to listen to your suggestion. Or in this case demand :S

We're aware of what different armies use. And it may surprise you, but there's more in life than sniping. We have priorities, and at the moment this isn't particularly high. There are other inaccuracies that have a much greater impact on the game.

yo bros i did not mean anything by it all i was meaning was that this is project reality and in Reaility M40A3 would be used for the U.S.M.C no demand intended.>>at all !!!!!!!!!!!!

well mate i like sniping!!!! and that's my choice to make lol

But lots and lots of people have a fixation with scoped long range rifles and at least 70% are not effective as snipers so there is a bit of an anti-sniper attitude.
As was mentioned in the above posts, there have been many posts about the weapons in the game and most questions can be answered by reading previous posts concerning the sniper rifles available.
You may be very good with a scoped rifle and do great work for the team but when you see people spamming the QM and never moving until they get the weapon they want and there are 4,5 or 6.. sometimes more people NOT fighting because they want a particular weapon and the team is losing because a bunch of prima dona's won't pick up an M16 and get in the fight you can see where there might be some hostility.

The M40A3 does have adjustable zoom on its scope while the M24 is fixed.
