I've noticed this alot during SP play; the enemy will get into a machine gun on a car or tank. Most of the time, a nice headshot will take him out. But about 25% of the time, the rounds just pass right through him and hit the hatch behind him!

Just today, I had a sniper rifle, maximum zoom, only 50-100m away from a vehicle, emptied an entire magazine into this guy's head. Nothing. When he got out of the vehicle, you could see the bullet impacts on the hatch behind the gun.

I mean, what the hell?

Isn t this the wrong forum section?
Maybe better still cause i can imagine you are in for a world of hurt, with the entire magazine remark.

BF2 hitboxes detection strike again !

Yea used to happen in vBF2 as well, SP was never it's stongest point, and yea hitboxes seem to be a bit different in SP, but hey its only SP after all.

Not true...this bug ruined my PR movie...we wanted to film a .50 gunner getting shot by insurgent sniper only to find out, that hes invincible. I emptied the whole clip into him and nothing. Only when he got out of the Humvee, we could kill him.
So its a MP bug , too, but Ive never experienced it before in a live server...

yea for some reason the Humvee gunners are invincible until you get into one, then everyone on the map can hit you.

Is "vBF2" that "vanilla" thing I keep hearing about?
