Some questions about PR 1.0.
Is there any clue of when the 1.0 will be released? Will it remain free of charge? (perhaps EA does´nt allow mods to cost?).
I also would like to thank the guys behind PR for this great mod.

It will be some time, and PR is not really the type of mod that one should "wait" for 1.0 for.... .5 (the current build) is very much playable

And, yes, it will be free of charge (we think)

EA would not like anyone t make money on their engine except themselves so, No, PR will remain free of charge for the foreseeable future. Just DL and enjoy.
Mod developers in general are more or less allergic to questions relating to releasedates. The reason for that is that since they don't get paid making the mod they will have to sacrifice whatever free time they have and that makes it very hard to estimate when the mod can be released.

tell me about it, I am on the development team for Lord of the Rings - Total War (check the sig) and all we ever get is "when is it going to be released", so we just delete any topics/posts asking about releases and release previews/screens/vids as a tease.
Modding isnt easy but it is good fun, and back on topic. It will be released when it is done. and no it wont cost.

As long as every publisher and their brother keep hoping for a new Counter Strike, the mod scene will thrive.

No intent to charge for the PR mod.
We'll call some release v1.0 sometime after 4 things happen:
- we complete the British Forces arsenal
- we complete the changes we have already started with the current factions
- we are no longer making major changes to fundamental game dynamics elements
- we are happy with how the mod plays
There will be, at the very least, a v0.6 and a v0.7 release of the mod. The v0.8 release would be next numerically, but we may elect to call that v1.0. If we go as far as a v1.0, likely there will be a v1.01 or a v1.1 release. Then we'll evaluate what to do next.
So according to that plan / schedule we'll be doing PR releases for the next 6 months at a minimum.

I think .8 should be adding the canadians and .9 should be touching them up and then you can have a 1.0 release

I think that we should leave touching up Canadians to Desertfox, he's weird like that.

We can't have too many factions now.
