My rig
XFX Geforce 7900 GS
2.5 gigs DDR400 3x512 1X1024
Amd 64 3400+2.21 Ghz

try a system restore. I was getting horrible fps in pr and a system restore fixed everything.

I believe those sandbags are normal.

yeah, I get that effect on the sandbags sometimes as well. They look all shiny and swirly.... they still seem to stop bullets ok though...

Sometimes you will get stuttering for the first couple of mins in some maps until all the graphics are loaded into memory, I've got an uber rig and it still happens to me at times.
Also everyone including me gets those graphic gliches from time to time it used to happen in vBF2 aswell, but you should only get it know and then and not on every map.

System restore, is this a button i can press. I can t play SP, get lots of stuttering then, in MP not so much but a fairly low FPS.

Try reverting back to an older Driver.

I had that effect once BF2v. It went away when I altered the graphic settings but I don't remember which one. Maybe the it doesn't like the resolution you set it at.

I'm not saying thats not good advice, but I'm saying for me that meant an irreversible OS crash resulting in formatting of whatever I had on at the time including assignments etc etc etc

^^ Doesn't system restore normaly format? I think that was the point...
Just back up important stuff on external drives/DVR-R's/CD's...

ctrl+alt+dlt ---> what is running in the background? Lots of stuff running will hog ram. Do you have any video settings altered in your Nvidia control panel like vsync? I have had that sand bag issue but with a newer dirver I don't see it very often. Go to
http://www.majorgeeks.com and look up the Black Viper windows tweak guide. Go through all the windows services and tweak as needed, plus see if there are any services running that shouldn't be there. I googled alot of processes to determine if they should be automatic or manualy started or if they were something needed to get rid of.
Hope some of that helps.
Cheers,
