What's the progress for getting a 'real' UAV or access to some more commander abilities?

Personally I think the commander should have to enter the UAV trailer to actually use ANY of the commander abilities like this:

1. Player applies to be commander
2. Player is accepted as commander
3. Player approached the UAV trailer
4. Player presses 'E' to enter vehicle
5. Player has access to commander abilities while inside the vehicle

I bet the trailer is gonna be the most attacked/defended target in the game! Could it perhaps be replaced by something more mobile? On amphibious assault maps the LHA should be the commander's vehicle.

How about a mobile 'command post' vehicle?

This is usually some kind of converted APC or IFV covered in aerials
(there are loads of real life examples).

LOl thats funny ... i for one wish we could have tunnel rats that can tunnel underground =)
