Hey guys,
I just want to know, if it's possible to open the bf2 soldier models, because there are several things that interfere me...
And I think complete new models take to much time...

Thx for answers

You may not edit DICE models.

Incorrect. It is possible to edit DICEs models. I'm not sure about the technicality of releasing the redone model to the public. (don't ask me how to do it, I have only seen it done.)

you wouldnt want to. It would be more work than it is worth. You have to redo the uvs, and weights for the bones. If you dont weight them correctly other parts wont line up. not fun. It would be easier to do a new one

HMMWVs with TOWS from DCON just have a custom weapons attachment, the weapon isn't part of the model itself. I don't remember what on the BH was modified.

no DCon did not edit the models. they just attached something to the model. like on the LAV, there use to be 2 TOW lanchers on the side of the model, we just removed the code that removes the attachmant off the side and they where gone :p

Hmm ok...
I just think that the Dice-models are very nice and dont need to re-done, but for exemple it would be better if the Kevelar Vest (which is very shit, I think for exemple the US Soldiers should wear an Dragon Skin Body Armor) is part of the kit, because if u change as a rifleman the kit, u still wearing the kevelar Vest with a pilot kit, because its part of the model...

No, the fucking Army denned Dragon skin armor even though it would save hundreds of lives. They decided it would cost to much money to give to each soldier on the ground.

Yes, what with those six figure salaries and all.
