ok so i here about the SA-7 has problems hitting stuff, and it gives a lock warning. so i also heard that the SA-7 it IR guided or something, so it really doesn't give off a lock warning.
i did a search and couldn't find anything about it so heres what i think.
make the SA-7 player guided like the TOW in vanilla, it has a proximity explosion area and it does alot of damage because it would be pretty hard to hit stuff with it

It does not have a problem hitting shit, People just don't know how to use them correctly. They just assume that they will hit the damm thing once they get a steady lock.

That would be making it unrealistic

Uberpwnage ultimate infantry/aircraft sniping weapon ftw!
Seriously though, this weapon would be nuts (in a bad way)...
Can you even begin to imagine the carnage and joy vBF2ers would have in PR if something like this (proximity fuse Oo?) was introduced?
The current SA-7s have no problems. Was playing with an anti-air squad in Al Basrah once. took the two technicals in the back, along with one SA-7. In the first 5-10 minutes of the game we wiped out most of the marine's rotary craft. One well aimed SA-7 and me blasting like a madman in the escort technical was all it took. Granted the guy who had the SA-7 had skill with it but thats what it really comes down to if you want the thing to make hits.

All aircraft with PR are fitted with Magical AA Weaponry Detectors, that start going off whenever someone within 50 miles even thinks about shooting you down.
Really, though, I don't think there are any radar guided missiles in PR, so there's absolutely nothing that would give off any warning. But then, the flight ceiling and speeds are also such that MANPADs are rendered somewhat more effective than they would be in real life.
