I don't know how many of you have tried this or use this but it really will add to your game. Takes alittle bit to get used to it but it makes the game that much better.
Its in the options portion of the main menu. its in the area where it has all of those options you can "X" on or off.

already done
I have been playing without it and with the HUD on full transparency since February. It makes the reloading of the M203 much more believable.

forgot about that one - I do that as well. I always do a double take when I see a PRM screenshot with magic little flags in it

my screenies sometimes have the 3d hud in them because the X-Fire screenshot button is alt+v so it turns them on as I am taking the screenshot.

I turned off my auto-reload soon after installing .5, but it is somewhat annoying. The weapons in game don't have out of ammo animations, ie, the slides on pistols don't lock in back position. What's even worse, you can still see ammo on belt fed weapons like the M249 even after they're empty.

that would be one of the best things PR would impliment, real animations for empty magazines/belts

I tried doing auto reload... I didn't last a minute before turning it back on again, haha... I feel like doing it once 0.6 comes out, so...

I have auto-reload turned on, but I've never actually auto reloaded lol. I always reload when I have a couple bullets left.

i'm gonna put it on non auto reload, but the transparency is not changing because i want to keep track of my mags and bulletmode, since you can't see the animation for the change of bullet mode it's a bit hard to see it if you don't have the hud (sadly).

Same. I don't even know what my setting is. I reload after every firefight, even if I only pop off 5 rounds.

that suprisingly enough stays for me which is fantastic. What goes is the magic minimap and the HUD grey colour scheme. And if I want the map I press 'enter' and if I want to double check my bearings I tap double tap 'alt'. Works like a charm - the way the game should be played.

yeh i tend to reload every other encounter or after every encounter if i have shot a lot,
this i find is probably the only upside of the m16 since you can count more accurately how many you have left mentally.
