Objectives

I really like the idea of more objective based maps in the future, rather than endlessly capping flags. I think it'll add to realism too. So I thought we could all put our heads together and think of objectives that could go into future maps. Here's a couple of obvious ones to get the ball rolling:

OBJ: Destroy Bridge
One team must destroy a bridge and make sure it stays destroyed.

OBJ: Defend Bridge
The other team has to keep the bridge up.

OBJ: Retrieve Asset
The fiendish enemy have captured a tank/chopper/whatever, get it back!


You get the idea. A map could have several different objectives that need to be completed to win (perhaps in a set order?), so they can be big or small tasks. Be creative, lets have some ideas! :D

Have you ever tried extraction maps? They are objective based and require immense teamwork and are loads of fun.

Agreed. I want battles where objectives come up and change during the course of the battle. I look forward to the day when "flags" and "CPs" bring nostalgic thoughts of old-skool PR.

Yup, that's the SCENARIO mode and it is in works...
