Shouting the AK is very loud in real life sometime it can "Close" your ear for a bit. And if your next a mounted gun or PKM thats loud as shit

Its like louder then the big bang.

Sounds are weaksauce. Dono, if it's BF2 that can't do good sounds or they just haven't been done right.

Only ones I got a problem with is the 'rubber band gun' pistols and the 'to much of a pussy to actually make a cool noise' QBZ-95s.

The sounds could definitely use a bit more "punch" ... not volume ... but bass or something ... the Eve of Destruction guys did a good job with this in their release for BF2 ... their AK and M16 sounded better than I've heard in the past + their law rocket had a nice "phwishhhhhhhhhhhhhh" (LOL!) sound to it.

when .6 is out, stand on top of a tank and make it so your shell goes down the hatch...

Well it's a game and I'm glad the sounds aren't too loud. Why should we suffer hearing loss like a real soldier would.

They don't need to make you deaf, just sound strong.

Sure I don't mind if the gun sounds are heard at longer distances, but I still see no need to increase the volume of your own gun being fired, for you, at your location.

It would make the game more realistic and really add to the feeling. Right now by the sounds of the guns it feels that I'm playing an airsoft game instead of a war game.

Sound dynamics are hardcoded.
They can only change the volume. So for the a 10 to be heard, it had to be loud......
But I support raising sounds.
