Hello all:
I am looking for people to join the the DVB server this afternoon and tonight to stress-test the lastest version of Operation_Archer.

THe map is located on the DVB forums in the mapping section... Drop a line if you can attend...

Map features:
  • 1024x2
  • lots of planes
  • rock climbing (a historical Devils Brigade thingy)
  • 650m view distance (had to tweak down to meet average CPU specs)
there are a few known matters that need work:
  • we need to get a talented artsit to tweak the terrains and textures.
  • vehicle placements and numbers need to be reconsidered?
here are some shots of the map to quench curiousities...

Can you post the download here?

The map looks good, though, I would just cut down on the number of CPs.

edit:

direct link to download: http://hosting.dvbsquad.com/paramedic/O ... Archer.zip

(because otherwise you have to hunt through multiple threads etc and most people are to lazy to do that)

edit 2:

nevermind

"404 not found

It looks great. The terrain is good, not all that wild now.

Great map.
Its a really good air map, a bit laggy though.

yes... perhaps a bit too demanding due to the view dist and lack of fog/.....

Fog has no impact on lag, etc. It's all in the view distance.
