i think uk specops

i think uk sepcop is a sas solderg shood be with a braclaver on becouse u not alowd see ther face not even reguler troops are plus he needs be befed out with some cool stuff like graplinhook a mirror that can reflect sunlight as signals and decoys 2 nads tite to trip wire set traps bolwing enamy radio tower loses ther
voip comuinication first thing i wood want do wood be stop them comunicting
then yer ir might suck no radio but sh*T hapens like that in wars plus
howabout sum thing to blow up big like big bom is going go off we hav
to defues a kinda extrat typ thing dun thort i put wot poped in head

Well, after reading this 10x times....
Youre just suggesting to give the Spec Ops kit a whole bunch of stuff, making it Leet...pff, this is Project REALITY...
And we dont have SAS in the game, so they dont need a mask to hide their faces...its called British Armed Forces...

i think UK spec ops (?) solder should have a braclaver (?) on because you're not allowed see their face. not even regular troops are. plus it needs be beefed out with some cool stuff like grappling, a mirror that can reflect sunlight as signals and decoys, 2 trip wire set traps. blowing enemy radio tower makes them lose their voip.

first thing i wood want do would be stop them communicating, then their radio might suck. no radio, but sh*T like that happens in war. plus how about something to blow up that we have to defuse. kind of an extract type of thing . i put what popped into my head.

Just fixed a few capitols....and we cant have mirrors, game engine wont allow

You sure? I mean, not that having them as a specific tool would make much sense in PR, but couldnt you just make it so that its like a scope that shows behind you as opposed to in front of you?

i dont think the Spec-ops is a SAS operative to start off, i think hes a Recon or some kind of forward observers for the unit hes supporting.


yes, the SAS show their faces, im guessing they don't show their faces in public during operations, but thats for their protection

as for the radio thing I dont know if thats a good idea for game play reasons, as if people can't communicate theres not going to be any team work.

the SAS have a huge selection of kit available to them, but most of it is specialist stuff to issued out depending on the operation the operation, i cant see them getting issued grappling hooks for every mission they go on. like on operation ghost train the only 2 things on the map worth climbing is the temple and trees but that would just look silly.


as for the defuse idea not a big fan of it, it makes me think of css.

well the sas is only sepcop we hav and the only unit that drives the pinky

so to hav a uk spec op he must be a sas man or its unrealistik

if u want a similer to spec op a pathfinder wood be good

But seriously... Was this a real suggestion?

1. SAS is NOT the only SF u have. Im a yank and I know that...
2. The in Game Spec Ops is not the SAS.
3. No, no, no, no, and no. The goal of Project Reality is to get AWAY from sup3r 1337 classes.

The ingame Spec Ops nearest comparison is the Special Recconaisance Regt which was formed roughly two years ago.

Most of what you suggested is hardcoded as far as I know, and in my opinion, useless and far more unrealistic than the Spec Ops class not being SAS , which is in fact, also unrealistic (although I did kinda like keeping my gas mask on in Special Forces, just for the look of it).
