Turning reduces stamina?

I thin this would solve some of the zig-zag sprint thing. What about making it where when you change direction quickly while in sprint your stamina goes down some more? Don't know if this is possible or not.
Also, another one that would be neat is that if you are sprinting and you turn extremely quickly you have a chance to fall down. (Go prone)

Agreed that would look cool, but once again I think we have to deal with engine limitations.

People with high mouse sensitivity would be fucked (insta-turns etc)
Plus, I dont see zig zagging a problem, its better than instaprone or bunnyhopping...

I highly doubt either one is possible really but the stamina thing may be possible due to the fact that the engine can sense changes in direction. (Like the minimap) But the falling down thing, only like a 1% chance that's even possible lol.

thats bullsh*t, if youre running across hot ground your gonna throw in some zig zags to reduce being shot.
this is supposed to be realistic.

I think it is if you suddenly turn around and run back the way you came.

Yet another example of someone trying to alter the game because they aren't very good at it.

One of those realistic moments that I've had was on Ejod.
I was shooting some guy in the open, and he started to zig zag, and bloody hell, that wasn't vanilla at all and looked good!

Zig zag to avoid bullets?! That can't be realistic surely?

and an enemy on a rooftop standing up and shouting at you saying 'well thats not very fair is it?, run in a straight line!' is realistic?

Well, your stamina is reduced anyways, since you run zig zag, not walk...lol

Yet another example of a nilla noob......
Anyway, what I'm saying is it is realistic, i don't care how fit you are, go get in full combat gear and take off running at full speed, then start zig zagging, you will get tired a lot quicker than if you ran in a straight line. Also, try running at full speed and making a 180 degree turn in combat gear, VERY high chance you will fall.

It's not like these guys sprint 400m... the bar goes quickly... just as you would loose your puff whilst sprinting in full gear. It's fine how it is..

Now when I think again, I have now turned to th side that says: Leave it as it is...
You see when you run in zigzag you run a longer distance ie loosing stamina.

They are in Combat gear, ammo and rifles only.
No canteenboogie, sleeping bag, tent....etc.
