When in the cobra I sometimes will get an instant steady lock without hearing a warning lock.
its like you don't hear anything until the sa7 gunner is about to shoot you.

I dont know about the instant lock, but the fact that they can lock you almost over the whole map is annoying. At least change the lock sound lol

Lots of rooftops, small map....the SA-7 is realistic, there just isnt enough space...unless they nerf it..

The lock you may be experiencing is possible but un common. Sometimes, a missile gets distracted by another target, that being you.
if an INS fires his SA at a BH and you come between it or become the closest target, within reasonable heading of the missile, it will change its mind and go for you, resulting in the 'quick lock'.

Thats one lucky shot...I had two Cobras and a BH in sight and the SA couldnt decide, which one to lock on
