Well, I was making a search for some military images and I found something interesting. In PR game, in the map called Al Basrahr, you can play as insurgent (and civilians in 0.6 ) or you can play as a USM soldier.

But, according to this site here http://www.operations.mod.uk/telic/phot ... s_land.htm (btw, nice images in this link) there are images of british soldiers in the real Al Basrah. Take a look:


legend: An Irish Guards sniper provides cover during an assault to clear regime forces from a complex at Basrah.


A Challenger 2 of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards provides support to 3 Commando Brigade in southern Basrah.


42 Commando Royal Marines advance into Basrah.


A Challenger 2 and a USMC Cobra helicopter ready to provide fire support if needed as Basrah is cleared of the last pockets of resistance.

I think you already know about it, but, will it change to 0.6 or maybe later to 0.7 ?

i think the devs were didnt put the Brits into albashra becasue they hadnt compleated the APC, MBT, Attack Helo and son on for the brit faction. Im sure they will add it in due time.

Im pretty sure the Brits will be there in v.6, atleast, thats what I have been led to believe...

isnt pr set in the near future ?, so why british would be then if isnt the current conflict ?

yeah, brits should be in for .6, check the al basrah thread in the feedback forums to see some pics duck posted.

In 0.6 Brits will replace USMC on al basrah. I don't think they are adding any armor though so dont get your hopes up.

Probably because Wake Island will never be a vBF2 into PR map... Besides I don't think vBF2 storylines go with PR's storylines... Although this fan created storyline for vBF2 on the BF2s forums is pretty well written and it goes into the conflicts of BF2142

I don't see why PR has to be in the future, current conflicts are fine.

CANNOT WAIT for 0.6 Basrah.

Guys so u do know the British ARE In 0.6. And the only reason the USMC was in there was becasue the Devs were still making the British.
