As I posted before, I am newish to the pr world but friends of mine have had it for a while and I have checked out their stats and have noticed a bunch of different maps that I cant find anywhere. Are they from an old version or am I doing something wrong with the server filters.

Most likely most are older ones that have been removed, although you may have certain filters on right now that are keeping you from seeing all of the most current ones. Make sure all the "small, medium, & large" filters are on. A list of the ones you are questioning would help also.

Thats probably 0.4, since I had that for a week, then 0.5 came and I had to download that,

strike at karkand 2 wasn't good enough???
that map was one of my favourites!
altough I understand it wouldn't work with AAS2.. sad thing

alot of maps get dropped to make way for new, better maps.

Man i miss the 1st map i ever played, no idea what the name is now;

it was very sparse, couple of small oil pumping stations in the desert.

It was **** in comparison to the standard now, but what a relief from BF2 it was, you shouldn't forget your 1st PR map! - shame they can't all be available for nostalgia – I know the work is needed else where, not asking for it, just miss it.

(I was real bored of Abadan by the time it got cut )

arr i feel better now, thats the one. Oasis.. had some crazy fire fights on that one... Get the ridge, Hold the ridge, Rape the ********... ATTTACK!

Was there any cover except a few boxes and things around the 3 flags? lol good times.

Yeah i remember 6x6 on Oasis, 90% of the team was sniper

Now we have much better maps, but i would sure join a "nostalgia" server if there was one

my first map was sarqui night , good old days

i got put in jabal and i was like, 'yeh erm thats a **** load of walking' but its still a good map and i enjoy playing it every now and then.

as for strike at karkand 2, that map had to go, it was a vanilla granade fest with snipers killing everyone on the bridges.

Strike at karkand was a good vbf2 map but not a PR one.

I personally think that you guys should release all the old maps to the public for individual download(not in an actual pr release), just as optional maps for people to revisit. I really miss some of them.

we all get tired of vanilla maps, and even on vanilla maps in pr i still sence the vanillaism in them. On Gulf of Oman there are still the tking for jets smacktards...but not as much as Al basra.
