The a10 "grunt" (audio)

I've caught a few a10 vids around the net and the sound of the chin gun when heard from ground level sounds bloody awesome. Is there any way such a sound could be put in game? I've got some great synthesizers and ways to make them sound how I want, the main thing is how to implement in game.

The sounds would work like: 0.2, 0.3 sec rise in pitch from 0 to 65 Hz (for the 3900 RPM rate), loop with almost no modulation, loop cuts off abrubtly when firing ceases, 2 or 3 second stereo reverb (highly detuned).

The only real issue would be how to make that end reverb (extremely vivid) inaudible to other aircraft. Would the engine sounds automatically drown it out? In game, I mean?

What do y'all think?

The sound is kind of like a loud "vroooom" if I remember correctly, but I know what your talking about. Try doing a sample maybe, then upload it. Alternatively, ask one of our sound guys, they will probably help answer any questions..
