How is one choosen to be a beta testers and how does being a beta tester give you a advantage over install PRMM and playing it?

The last few beta testers that I chose, I based upon interest in our mod. I looked at the guys that were active on our boards and on discussions/suggestions of the mod. Some are long-time posters and others were new to our community but very active nonetheless. I also checked on quality of posts, not just number of posts.

1. Community involvment is the deciding factor if you become tester or not, testing activity is then the factor if you wish to keep the position.

2. Testers receive the version you receive once released, only difference is that is is usually quite a few weeks beforehand.

basically before something is released to the public we play it and make sure everything works and try and find all the bugs

Lol... Sounds fun. Ive beta tested a few games. Most MMO's. But im beta testing FEAR online now.. I dont like it.

i think FEAR looks kinda goofy, but thats just me.

Its not very good at all... The guns are WORTHLESS to the max! One is like a automatic sniper rifle with massive recoil another like a sludge gun... It is a beta... but still come on... Automatic snipers?

if that's true i think i'd rather betatest prmm...
