Just a few Suggestions...

I have a few suggestions I'd like to throw around and see if I could get some approval or disapproval and a gauge on whether or not the community would like it. Of course, all my ideas would need tweaking, and I'm not even sure some of them can be done, so responses would be useful.
1. Airstrike beacons: Commander can place a beacon for an airstrike, (anywhere on the map) that can be seen by all players on the map. As it is now, commanders can communicate to squad leaders and give them destroy orders to take out targets while there in a plane. While this is all good for coordination and teamwork, it is quite annoying when you have your squad leader flying around in a plane, or if your the commander, having pilots that you cannot communicate with.
When the beacon is placed, it would come up on the map (like the artillery icon) and (to help coordinate the airstrike) a colored smoke beacon would appear above where the airstrike would be located (kind of like the Return to Castle Wolfenstein Artillery strike beacon). Artillery, as it is right now, is completely useless in taking out tanks, and this mode would give forces on the ground the small chance to move out of the way before an airstrike would come in. The commander would not have to wait for a squad leader to request it, and the beacon would last for only 30 seconds or so with a 2 minute recharge time.
2. Artillery: If you leave Artillery in, however, make atleast one of the artillery shells (doesn't matter which one) actually land on the spot the squad leader desiganted. This way, Artillery would actually pose a threat to tanks, and be used more on them because they would actually do something.
3. M-16: Give it a full auto option, as it is right now it just sucks. (if thats too unrealstic for you guys my bad, just that every other guns has a full auto mode)
4. Grenades: make the primary fire a quick short lob toss, used for killing units at a short range around corners. Secondary fire would be the charge up toss, causing you to throw a far range, at a sacrifice of speed of throwing.
5. Swimming: Make it so that any class (wearing body armor) cannot swim in water. Whatever it is you make them do, like they cant move or die, just make it so they cant swim. Although you would have to redesign a few of the maps (by adding rope bridges or more boats)this would help create chokepoints and value the classes of combat engineer and spec ops for what they truely are. This way, on maps like operation ghost train, soldiers would try and fight across the bridge, or atleast use a boat to get across and fight over the rope bridge. Special forces classes could then sneak behind enemy lines (because everyone is fighting over the bridges) and destroy enemy targets. Also, combat engineers would be needed to repair and destroy bridges to help team movement, and limit the enemies. (its not realistic for a soldier with a 50 lb body amor and another 40lbs of equipment to be able to swim, while a soldier without body armor and a carbine would)
6. Vehicle hiding: Just one last thing, there needs to be more spots to hide spawn cars under in maps like Al-Basrah. if the other team has a commander, all of those cars will be destroyed by the a-10 before the insurgents can do anything. You need to get rid of those invisible walls under buildings (where you can walk under those balcony things) so we can hide cars down there.
Thanks for reading, if you dont understand just ask for clarification, i will try and respond to some of your suggestions. And admins if you like my ideas why not try em out?
