I did a search, but US vs UK brought up nothing because the words are too short. If there is another thread about this, please delete this one and direct me to it.

I think it would be cool, obviously pretty unrealistic, to have a UK vs US map just for shits and giggles. It could utilize, most, if not all of both the UK's and the US's vehicles. I think a map like this would be extremely popular and would be very interesting.

Story line is easy "Blank Ammo" + "Training"

No need too go OTT and mod the weapons too represent this.

Personally I would love too see this.

Not trying to be a jackass, but could you explain why it's a stupid idea? I already said it would be completely unrealistic, I just think it would be a really cool situation to have. Two superpowers who are allied facing off would be pretty sick.

Judging by these forums, I think it'd be popular.

Someone wanna model MILES addons to every weapon in game, though?

I don't think it would need to be a training simulation. Just set up some ridiculous scenario where the US and UK are pissed off at each other and have to duke it out. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't there some maps here that have made-up scenarios?

Um, perhaps: "It started with a large scale friendly fire accident...."

It takes place in fort benning, GA and ammo is paintballs. Idea will take work to be realistic as the US and UK are closest allies and havent fired a single shot at each other for 150 years

It'd be totally unnecessary to make a whole new map for just a US vs UK map. Hell, just use Ejod Desert for all I care and just make the MEC side converted to UK... I still don't want to see this happen though because people would be, "z0mg, USA all t3h w4y!!1" and "n00, UK is t3h b3st!!1"

Again, thanks for the constructive critism. I don't believe anything in this game is absolutely 100% realistic... and again, I stated in my original post that it wouldn't be realistic for this to happen, although it would probably be tons of fun.

Why would it be any more 'fun' than UK vs. China? Their weapons are comparable.

Because change is nice. Plus It's almost 100 percent dead on that most US players like playing as USMC and most brits like playing as UK.

I just think it would be really interesting to see the UK and US go against each other. I also think it would be quite fun. It has nothing to do with preferring a certain faction over another, I have never teamswitched in Project Reality and don't intend to.

Seeing as a majority of the community members and people who play PR are from the US and the UK, I think it would be really cool to see some nice competition between the two.

Or I could ask you, why not? Other than making a new map or just switching a faction on a map with either US or UK, I don't see what the big deal would be.

Also, I don't think this would be anymore unrealistic than the USMC vs China maps. We have never been in a large scale conflict before and probably won't be for a long time.

You said that it is unrealistic yourself, so I don't think it should be in PR.
