Im trying to make this map in PR that i cant release info about yet but thats irelavent. i cant get all the objects i cant see any of the statics in my objects list

If you follow Rhino's guide correctly you should have no problems. If you've done this already, go through and double check you've completed every stage of it correctly, and don't forget the part about going to Mod Manager and loading all of the editor content!

yeah i just forgot to extract the bf2 objects. sos

nevermind it wont load now... i try to load the mod which i have named PR2. but when im loading it in the editor it just stops. i think this may be a problem with the mod and i should start a new one or the editor.. anyone got any suggestions. trying to become a DEV here lol this is helpful...

Uhhh.....(seemingly) little map editing experiance, membership is barely a week old, and you have fewer than 10 posts...bit ambitious no?

On topic though, I would suggest you remake the map and reload all the files as it would seem that somewhere along the lines, some of your files got jumbled up.

1. I have much expirience in mapping in Half Life 2/CSS and BF2 about 3 years worth.

2. its not the map that is not loading i know how to fix them its the mod.

please dont make comments like that again. i was quite offended. and the reason for my account being a week old is because i dont use these forums i read them but i dont post and i recently joined because i thought i could make a few suggestions and i think im ready to join the team.



and just for the record ive been playing PR scince 0.1 lol i still have it installed on my computer its funny comparing it to 0.5

After folowing Rhino tutorial, if you messed something and cant see the Objects do this:
go to the battlefield2 folder
(usualy eagames/battlefield2)

Battlefield2/mods/pr/readme/bf2editor/mods/pr

copy that folder, and drop it to:
\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\bf2editor\mods\pr

But change the name of the folder to the name you created the mod

IE: if you made a mod called pr_edit, it should be:
\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\bf2editor\mods\pr_edit

The map is not loading on pr or on the editor?

i it is on PR, run the game on windowed mode, and it should send you a error message before CTD

copy that message and post it here

Also, try redoing the Rhino tutorial from the beggining on a new folder

i havent even tried loading the map yet.

I cant load the mod PR which i copied and made PR2 i cant load it.

Try, deleting both (pr and the mod you created)
And reinstal PR, folow the tutorial again and see what happens
