The MEC have had the SV-98 as their sniper kit since .5 it just lacks a model. They're going to get a different marksman kit and the PLA will get a different sniper.

Both the PLA and MEC will get an SV 98 rifle at some point.
The MEC's SVD will be replaced with a G3SG/1 in a future release.

no, and an israely rifle for an islamic army wouldn't be realistic, and MEC gets full H&K equipment, so also the DMR will be, the only question is, y they should have an russian sniper rifle ?
so H&K has no bolt sniper, i would prefer giving them a Steyr Scout Tactical

I've always wanted to see a galil in game! (I think it's in CS but I've never played so...)

Iran has a contract for Steyr equipment, they recently purchased a lot of sniper rifles from them, there was a big fuss about it as some were found in the hands of terrorists in Iraq.

yes, and the galil idea is just ****, and a russian sniper also looks a bit "unfitting" within all those german H&K rifles

There was a thread on Chinese weapons a bit ago with a PLA video listing all their infantry based weapons and there were some pretty fitting sniper rifles on it. I think the developers have this pretty much sorted already though, just need the models doin, same goes for the Brit rifle.

Factional advantage, presumeubly to compensate for the brit's rubbish DMR. They get a more powerful/accurate .338 lapua SR rather than the other factions' 7.62x51mm rifles.

Well, the suggestion of both these rifles are good ones. The SV-98 could be a good 'un for the MEC, and giving the PLA a unique rifle that they might actually use (IIRC the SV-98 was selected because it was reasonably plausable and China dont actually have a current issue bolt action sniper system).
The JS is, again, a plausable addition to the PLA's arsenal and would keep the theme of a chinese team armed with chinese developed/produced weapons (moving away from the image of only being tooled up with rip-offs of soviet eqiupment). However, it is a police rifle, rather than a military one, so it may not be suitable for field operations.

Thanks man i feel alot better. The JS is dual issue is'nt it?(I mean by dual issue is it's for police and military)
