Insurgent/Militia pick-up kit idea: Rifle Grenadier

This class would be ideal to give the teams medium range grenade capability while keeping the Insurgents and Militia from getting "noob tubes", as Rifle grenades would take longer to reload, but they would have a SLIGHTLY larger kill zone as a result of the bigger warhead.
Could also act as a sort of "half-RPG" as the HEAT grenade can peck away at tanks, but would mostly be useful for knocking out light vehicles and the like.
Loadout:
-Knife
-M59/66 SKS, 5x 10 round chargers, 3x APERS rifle grenades/blanks, 1x HEAT grenade/blank (optional)
-Field Dressing x1
HOW TO CONVERT STANDARD SKS TO M59/66 SPEC:
Make current model slightly beefier
Add grenade spiggot
Add grenade sights, attached to front sight base
Model Gas cut-off at the front of the barrel where the gas tube begins
Make stock slightly longer and add Rubber buttplate to texture
Modify bayonet
OPTIONAL: Add night sights. Would be nice for night maps to add a nice touch to the rifle.

Think, we already have that...
Grenadier
The grenadier is primarily an anti-personnel role. Its grenade launcher gives the ability to fire an explosive round at a distance clearing areas from infantry, obstacles, as well as light vehicles.
In addition to the explosive launched round,the grenadier has a launched smoke round. This round is great for putting smoke ontop of an enemy fortified position, filling the area with smoke allowing units to move through open spaces with concealment.
Kit
* Knife
* Assault Rifle with Optics (8+1 magazines)
* Launched Explosive Grenade Round x 7
* Launched Smoke Grenade Round x 4
* Binoculars
* Field Dressing x 1

I did. It only said "SKS", therefore I am thinking it will only be a Type 56/ SKS45 Russian pattern SKS. Now if it said "SKS GL" then yeah.

Yes, but those are scoped G3's/AK's/AR's with what appears to be a mix of both scopes and GLs.
Simple semi-automatic rifles with rifle grenades would be a much more plausible weapon for an insurgency. This is also taking balance into consideration since I do not enjoy Insurgents picking either RPG or Special Forces every time I play Basrah or Helmand. They would be slower to load, harder to spam but would be a tiny bit more effective.

Doesn't EoD:2 have a SKS model? We could just use that, and add the grenade sights and the grenade. If done right, the reload animation for the RPG could be used temporarily.

They're already using the EOD SKS model, I think...
This would make an excellent alternative to a UGL for the Militia, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were added in a later release... Probably not coming any time soon, though.

225 buck US, NEW
Only the yugoslavian manufactured model has the GL.
Insurgents should have this weapon because I have one.
EDIT: Well not new but unissued. They were made in the late 1960's.

Sounds like a good idea, and I'd like to see it implimented somewhere down the line.
However, it requres new animations, and they're probubly reasonably complex. As PR has higher priorities in this department and the addition of new animations tends to be a rather lengthy process (especially as PR seems to have problems getting/holding onto animators).
Good idea, should be noted and brought up agian when there is a better facility to impliment it.

Wow, I leave for a month and some of you managed to see what I was talking about.
Anyway, I still think this would be better than a Grenade Launcher for the Militia (and the insurgency in a lesser role) in terms of realism and gameplay. Especially since they will not have AK101/GP-30s as a regular weapon
I may try to get some data for the PR team on Zastava's rifle grenades.
