Stingers?

When i am playing Al Basrah, and im in the A10... things lock on to me. but when im doing infantry i dont find any stingers or anything. Does a RPG make the warning sound go off in a Jet/Helicopter?

No, the insurgents have an S-A7 pickup kit.

They Insurgents have one AA kit (SA7) which is at the Palace CP. It's inside on the first floor.

The SA7 (Insurgent shoulder fired AA missile) causes this, there are a few scattered around Al Basra, like the SVD and PKM kits.

It's in the palace building, first floor.
The one at the industry is in the little courtyard next to it.

I could not find the post but there is a map of al basrah with all the ammo dumps and pick up kits marked on it.

Speaking of the SA-7s and FIM-92 Stingers, are the models better looking? Are the reload animations and lock on sound bug fixed for 0.6?

I havent even used the Stingers yet..only requested the AA kit once in SP to see, how the weapon looks like
Plus, the .50 cal sniper needs to be hidden elsewhere, too many tards have found it....its in a very obvious spot, you just need to go Scooby Doo and sniff it out..
But yea..I just love the SA-7
Shot down 3 Cobras and 2 A10s yesterday...A10 are the easiest...since they get clipped slowly, then all it takes is a blown off engine ....
People havent realised, that the A10 doesnt get repaired, if its missing an engine..and like 5% of all pilots actually land, other just keep flying over the airport to reload..
