Hi,
Just played game. All funky and cool and than.... Me having sniper kit. Scope. See bloke next to rocks. Head shoot. Nothing. Another headshot - blood flying left and right-bloke still alive. Third headshot - bloke turns around and kills me with one shoot. O well, he must had a cyborg implant or something.
How can you capture who it is? When you die or kill someone it's depersonalized. How can you pick who it is and later on report it? I need to admit that all kind of cheats and hacks are ruining my game. I belive that this sort of games are for general fun of teamwork and kills not stats padding and giving it large.

This message is to all cheaters: You sucks. You have no skills whatsoever that's why you cheat. + your weenies are small.

are you playing on servers that support punkbuster and batttlerecorder?
they normaly scare hackers off,
thors brigade and tacticalgamer are servers i recomend for good teamwork games

trust me.. there is no hack that gives people 300000000000 (etce etc) health... its impossible

I remember the was somekind of bug where you couldnt kill with scopes etc.

Or maybe it's the usual hitbox thingie.

I heard about this "godmodehack" about a hundred times, in different onlinegames.
It's impossible, because damage/armor/etc. is serversided.
You can't hack this.

Ive played PR quite a lot since v.5 came out and the amount of times ive experienced hackers/cheaters could be counted on one hand. Im not dismissing your claim by any means when im saying this, but too many people on here cry "hacker" when it can easily be explained by connection, lag, graphics card etc.

Like the poster above me said, stick to servers with Punkbuster (Thors etc) and you'll be fine.

Hacking has yet to diminish my love of playing this game

I'm not making it up. Shot bloke 3 times in the head on scope with sniper kit. That's not the issue. To prove that i need to cap picture of accident. But I don't know who i'm killing becouse it's depersonalized. How can I find out who it was? Is picture enough? And how can I cap picture on punkbuster? As I said i'm fairly new to this mod so i might be in a wrong. But I swear to all gods (young and old) that I shot him 3 times in that head and he didin't die.

Only admins can put a PB screenshot on players...that is, if the server is running PB...

Sorry but you got to blame the hitboxes or something else.

P&K, I pretty much said in my post I wasnt questioning your integrity. All Im saying is that there are fast becoming more and more posts about cheaters on this forum. Im just concerned that too many of them are crying "hacker" when it could be any number of other things. This will end up putting off prospective new players who try out the forums and see what the game is all about (like me) before they download a big assed file.

Maybe ive just been "lucky" in not coming accross hackers...who knows

I've shot many people at close to medium range with a head shot and seen the blood spurt out, yet they still did not die. that's just the way it is, I've shot people in what as I could see was the tree close to them and they still died and I got the kill.

Hacking is something people with lots and lots of time on their hands do. I doubt anyone would bother to hack an online game. Why bother when you can steal money from banks and set of nukes........

Cheating is something else.

It's just the crappy BF2 hit boxes in your case.

Hitbox detection problem

If the guy was near the tree, you could have shot the tree...next time, go ninja on them and knife 'em, like Rage did on Ejod

Sounds like hit detection. Blood DOES NOT = HIT 100%. There is always lag and what you see is where they were not where they are. Even when stationary, if the target moves at all even if its just tapping a movement key you can miss even tho they appear to be standing still. And like others said if damage is server side then it's most likely this person is not cheating. And I wouldn't call your experience game ending. I have been playing this mod since .2 and I have never personally experienced someone cheating (even tho I know it has been confirmed on occasion).

They get cought by PB too fast...
Glitching and smacktarding is more common anyways...

You are all probably right. I'm so negative after playing BF2 and BF2142 when all hacks and cheats are on daily basis. I'm not lame at game and it frustrates me when you shoot and nothing is happening. It migh be that nearby rock absorbed all three shoots. But i would still like to know how to catch someone who is put under question. Print screen is fine but how can you find out who it was?
I need to admit that PR is giving me much more fun than any other game and mod (although hats down for Eve of Destruction 2).

Its not cheating, it happens every now and again when I snipe people and you need to stick another round in... its probably lag/hit box issue.

I've experienced this to. At ranges where the Slug Shotgun would of been hyper-effective. Sniper rifle, three to the back of the head. The sob finally turned around and starting shooting at me. Guess he needed to see the bullet skull**** him before he decided "Oh, I should be dieing right now."

I thought it was tank-armour grade Helmets, but I'm sure it was a hitbox issue. But it sucks when others lagging helps them. I have such a good connection I get killed before turning the corner =(

I have seen it from the other side as well.
My squadmate took a hit to the head, I saw the blood spurt but when I pulled out the Medpak he wasn't injured.

Iv had the xact same scanario happen to me, yet i was on the recieving end of the sniper and after i killed him i had to say sorry lol.
EA are a bit cheap *** when it comes to stability with their products.
