Firearm suggestion for Insurgents

Hello Everyone, and Dev team. I was just thinking that the russian RPD light MG, or type 56 MG (same) would be a good support weapon for the insurgents.
It is still used by alot of rebel groups, and organised gangs ect world wide.

It was the lightest Support MG ever designed as far as I know. I'm not really sure as to why the russians replaced it with the RPK as the RPD was argueably a better all around weapon.
It was lighter, could be fired easily from standing position, extremly reliable, very simplistic design, cheap, accurate and effective out to 800m.
I think the only draw back was it did not have the ability to interchange barrels.
