Hi, i played pr like 5 times now, and i can never get any kits to work. I go to the red marker get a pilot kit, he says ive allocated your pilot kit so i go to a chopper and it says ''tech9374 you need a pilot kit to operate this vehicle''

Then i die, so whats that all about, i tried it with apcs and everything they just dont work, i have reinstalled and that doesnt help, so any ideas?

Press G to pick the kit up.

Hmm...I take it someone didnt even play vBF2?

You have to pick up the kit that was allocated. Its placed right at your feet.

Yeh i know now, and yes i have played bf2 before, lol.

But i pickup the kit get in a chopper and i still cant fly it, it doesnt move of the floor, thanks.

You also need to join a squad or make one.

And then there's a 30 second startup time for jets & choppers.

If you are a pilot you should know because you will only have a pistol as a weapon.

...you should also read the player guide...it would help a lot and save us time

Not to mention stop people from laughing at you on the servers. Also you can (assuming you're not in the US military ) YouTube "project reality player's guide".

I thought the Youtube/blogger ban was on US military posting not reading.
But this manual stuff is overrated , just ask in the server and some one will answer you although for every one person who answers you will get 5-10 dumb or nasty responses, the most common being Alt+F4.
