Before starting i did search this and it didnt come up so.....

Seen as the USMC get TOW launchers on some HUMVEEs and i know that the British army have got landrovers with MILAN launchers on the back which are used by the army why not make a landrover and replace the GPMG with the launcher :p

for a start the are and where used by SAS in the Golf War when SCUD hunting. There used by SF cos they dont have armour but you could make a map that has Royal Marines in it seen as they use it along with Paras

I'll try to look for more pics :p

They did, but they lost to Woods because of concentrations of bunker networks and sandy conditions.

Nice suggestion. MILAN landrover would be a lovely addition.

It would be nice, but the trouble is that the Milan is being phased out for the Javelin.

But the trouble is, the Javelin is too damn powerfull for PR!

coz devs always want *scale up* things in a *scape down* evirovement (4x4 is waaaay to short for a realistic scale up gameplay, but that is a bf2 issue, devs cant do anything about that :( ) , if they scale down a bit the javaline it will be realistic AND balanced

PD:  shtora-1

I think we get these nowadays. Javelin Missile on a truck or something.
I haven't seen a landy with a Milan since Gulf War One

On the light armored landys these are on them.

Just trust me, the Javelin if added with both manual and automatic tracking systems, will always be the ulimate weapon for killing, plain and simple. Ok, it cant do suppressing fire as well as a GPMG or is as easy to carry as an SA80, but by george can it kill every thing and anything that emits a heat signature or looks like it needs a little tap on the head, if you get what i mean.

You see a tank and you are holding a Javelin, the tank is dead whether you cant hit an elephant at ten paces or not.
THerefore, combat involving MEC or Chinese tanks, would be about as danagerous as playing russian rulet with a 1 shot revolver!

So, i think it will be probaly a NO, NO, and a NO.....unless they remove the automatic tracking system and just keep the manual system, which would balance things off but would be fairly damn unrealistic as a representation of the Javlin anti tank weapon, so........errr, ask the DEVs if you really want and should but i doubt you will get much of an answer.

u have to take into account that is a landrover, i have very little armour so they would be very weak. yes it would be like russian roulet but its war thwe hole idea on the javlin is to kill, but if a squad comes actoss this landrover they could take out the gunner with 1 shot or a grenade

two words , shtora and "lazerblind"(:mrgreen :)

the shtora can be symulated by adding *flares* to the t90s , so a smoke screen with flares can defend the t90 from a javaline lock (ike the shtora do)

and the lazerblind thing (types 99) ......well........... something lie the flashlights ?
