I dont think the helmets do any change in pr, in real life I have seen a helmet deflect a 5.56 bullet. I find it hard to believe that it can deflect anything bigger though.

There was a British soldier who's helmet was shot 2 or 3 times in Iraq during the war.
Of course a lot depends on the angle and distance the shot is fired.
Straight on and you're dead.

That is one lucky soldier!
And yeah angle and distance is the two most important factors besides caliber, I think deflect is the keyword not a chance in hell that a helmet is going to stop a bullet straight on.

True.
Although they'd stop pistol bullets.

In real life it can take 9mm bullets, im guessing it can do in PR at least 2 because when i was a pilot, took 2 headshots to kill someone once, dont know if the hitbox bugg or lag.

I'd guess the last 2.

There is now way that a helmet stops bullets?
Even if they are not designed to stop bullets,
the can deflect at least some of them.

The Mk.6 helmet is not primarily designed to be bullet-proof. It will deflect most 9mm rounds, and given the angle and velocity of impact, 5.56mm rounds. 7.62 from massive range will not penetrate it either.
It was designed as shrapnel protection from grenades and other nasty stuff

The guy wasn't wearing the helmet when it got shot at, so I've heard. It's one of those heroism stories that they sell.
