It seems like rocket propelled grenades in .5 are the new support weapon of .2 PR. Are RPGs so accurate in real life that people can use them for sniping and killing people at like 500 meters?

Well if what people are saying about the AT-4 over in the other thread is true, then definately not. It would follow a ballistic arc, like in BF1942.

Sniping with RPGs? That's a silly thing to do! They are most awesome when used to take out helicopters, tanks at medium distance... or troops, at five meters away.

Ya, well people are using them for fighting troops now. I saw an entire squad with only RPG!

Were they using RPGs (i.e. MEC or Insurgents)? If so, they were presumably called AWESOME SQUAD.

Insurgent RPG's are the most inaccurate things in game.

They're definately bloody inaccurate yet are often used at close range, Personally i use them for taking out landing Helo's but i suppose that's just me...(Hope not)

i use them for committing suicide most of the time, and not intentionally.

Back blast is always fun.

I make sure to punish if someone accidentally kills me with back blast, because I'm a prick.

Well, only half of that sentence may be true.

I have yet to see backblast in MP.

Wait, RPGs in PR have backblast? News to me, and I've stood behind plenty of RPGs as they launched.

I've been TK'd by one in an enclosed space next to a building.

Maybe an increased arming-time would represent the trouble of firing these things, atleast the heavy anti-tank systems.

Best way to pull a tooth out is to tie it to an Eryx wire!

I'm just wondering, but doesn't RPG mean basical Rocket Propelled Grenade?
