I was playing on TacticalGamer tonight for about an hour, following ALL the rules, not talking smack, listning to my squad mates, even VOLUNTEERING to be a medic and heal people instead of myself and getting myself killed healing others, when...BAM...

"You have been kicked for not joining a squad [Admin Decision]".

So I rejoin after waiting 5 minutes of messages saying "You have been kick due to a successful kick vote or for excessive teamkilling", which I NEVER do, and finally get in and ask if I had been kicked from my squad, which I hadn't.

So I ask "Can an admin tell me why I was kicked for not being in a squad even though I was in one?".

Reply: "It gave you a wrong message." "You probally go kicked so a supporting member could join.".

So I say "Why can't you kick one of the people with 0 points?" (there were 5 people who were in game with 0 points and several with - scores).

Reply: "Don't complain." "Points do not matter.".

I reply to this with "Well it's not a good strategy to get people to play here if you are going to kick them for following all the rules.".

They say to this "We don't have a problem with getting people to play here.".

I say "I didn't say that.".

Then I disconnected from the server deciding not to play there again since the admins don't know who to kick and who not to even though there are great people who play there.

I hate it when admins abuse their power and kick random people who play by THEIR rules.

I'm pretty sure there kick system for supporting players goes by who has been in the game the longest, which no matter how you look at it is ultimately the fairest policy.

I hate when Im on TB Basrah and lose connection all of a sudden, then I go back and see the server full....its like, the server dumps me for someone else to join....its a consiparcy, I tell you....

The server is alway full, sometimes I wait for 5 minutes refreshing the server list to get a spot

TG sucks. Even censoring myself didn't prevent me from getting banned for profanity.

TG is one of the best servers, you always get a good squad and often the other squads will tw too. And if a squad member or squad leader don't follow orders you can ask admin to kick him.

Well being from Tactical Gamer, I am almost willing to bet that it wasnt an Admin that said those things to you. Most of our Admins that are nice and is willing to cooporate with you.

The "kick" system is really buggy imo and this happens more than you think. Sometimes it will kick the newest person to make room for an SM.

With that being said...it is a server for mature adults. Yes, we dont allow profanity, yes we dont allow bunny hopping, yes we dont allow Dolphin Diving. But we enjoy playing PR without people spamming the chat with random garbage and useless profanity. I am sorry this happened to you Expenable Grunt...I really enjoyed playing with and against you. Hopefully we could get this whole thing sorted out.

Honestly... the Tactical Gamer kick system is pretty.... I guess you could say selfish. The server kicks the person who has been on there the longest, instead of kicking someone with a low score which in turn means all the new guys stay longer than whoever has been on the server playing longest, regardless of their score. Keeps the server "fresh" so you don't have as many people just getting bored and logging off. Good idea for the server, not particarly beneficial to players. Sorry if that was confusing, it's late and what I was trying to say is confusing in general.

Use the search. If you don’t like TG, then don’t play there.

Unmotivated.... You weren't in a flippin squad.. and server rules say you will get kicked for not being in a squad.. pretty simple!

Who cares ?
There are other servers with less power mad people running them that allow .........oh no ...."profanity" ,,,, servers that don't ban you for telling non cooperating teammates to get in the fight.
IT's a great server if you need to be mollycoddled with 4,000 rules but if you are an adult then having the above mentioned diaper baby set of rules will only piss you off.

I wouldnt worry, the l337 tactical gamer server entitles you to act like a **** by the looks of things, its happened to me as well, just find a server that isnt populated by wannabe delta farce.

Uff....last time I played there, I got kicked from my squad, because I didnt have time to reply to my SL, and he didnt ask, where the funk I am...I was reviving and meding a stupid Spec Op, who ran away right after the revive, thinking he has got full health...and the SL got killed, while I went hiding behind a wall and killed the squad, that came to capture the CP...

I'm assuming they were kicking guys to make room for (TG) members. Though, they should start off with the guys with a negative score or guys that are not in squads.

I was banned on that server for like 2 months until I started playing yesterday.
Reason?

Dickheads get on the server, tking you all the time. Then when I got fed up, I started tking the sh*t out of the tker.

I know what happened, I believe I was in your squad.

I can't remember who the squadleader was, but he asked you to go medic when you died. You didn't spawn for some time and he got no response so he kicked you. Then you came back as medic and probably didnt notice you had been kicked out the sqaud. You were a good team player, it was just bad luck. Get a mic then you can say "I just have to do something...", and you won't get kicked.

As for the teamkilling that just means the server is full(62).

We are happy to keep those away from our servers who think being mature means you have a free ticket to use profanity without any respect to society.

Tactical Gamer is one of the best, if not the best server out there imo. The admins are very good at keeping the game running well, with hackers getting kicked based on multiple reports of foul play, and a genuine desire to run a mature server that focuses on teamwork.

moved to the Playable PR Servers forums. As long as the server is an Original Settings (PROS), then we welcome the server

Regarding the server-specific rules on those servers.....the server owner(s) pay the rental costs, so can therefore run the in-game discipline as they please.

Don't like it? Play somewhere else...and ffs post in the correct forums.
