From what you have seen so far, do you like .6 ?

Please keep this post on-topic.

Except for some of the new aspects of the kit system, I think it’s the best PR release up to date.

Yes, better than .5 and fresh content is always good.

Hahah, yeah I triple posted. I guess I really like PR then. :p

In fact I haven't played Armed Assault once since the release of OB .6.

I love it. At first, when I heard about all of the changes that was going to happen, I was worried we would lose most of our player base. But now, that fear is gone. The only thing is, I only want to play insurgent maps now since I love playing as a civilian or against them. They add so much to the game. Hopefully they'll fix the chopper lag bug.

Better, way better. The view distance is very nice! Maps are nice too, Rally Point System...hmm not so.

(Hey Cheeseman, saw you on Basrah last night)

I think the civilian class should have a special function so that they can help out British team. Me and Wolf last night were holding out field dressings to the brits to get them to like us, 1 group accepted, the other Mosin Nagant'd me until I got disconnected.

.

"Few, very few" games "have made my heart thump with such excitement." Project reality "managed it" Project reality developers "erudition is phenomenal, as is" their "capacity for creating anther completely believable world. I might have given a better idea of this" game ""if i had simply written six hundred times the word "SUPERB"." HELEN LUCY BURKE, Irish Times.
;-)

Damn it, you know its true, whether or not the lady knew what she was actualy refearing to when she wrote the review of HMS SURPRISE, hell of a good game, hell of good book. Either way, absolutely amazing entertainment which ever way you look at it.
:p

I only got to play basrah for 10 min...but it wasn't just fighting over facility!

The civs seem real cool. First one I saw was hiding near a hole in a fence, and on approach he ducked back and an insurgent popped out...
They should prove very entertaining...

and...BI MING! ohhh the sexyness...Unfortunatly as soon as the map started people starting pooring out of the server but I'm hoping that was due more to the fact that the server had the squad bug, and some vehichle bug driving people off.
I REALLY hope people play this map, but with the history nightmaps have I don't know they will. Its PITCH black with out NVG. Jungle night map for the win.

some minor problems\bugs but I like it more then 0.5
Awesome new sounds for QBZ's & AK-47 , MEC camo , G3A3 :D
Great work on molotov's , now they are real antivehicle threat

Though Al Basrah needs A-10 ... don't take me wrong , I've never flyed it . But it was the essential spirit of the map , it was it's soul ... seriously , Al Basrah enviroment loses a lot without A-10 engines sound in the air

All bugs aside, I like it. The new tanks are amazing and tank battles on Al Kufra Oilfields are the best. The terrain is flat enough to allow for 500+ meters shots but it also has many obstacles that increase the bonus of good maneuverability. I played it today and went about 30:1. Got at least 8 tanks and APCs and at one point had a "firefight" with enemy tank that lasted about 5 minutes and took over 10 shells :)

Kashan desert on the other hand is too empty so its often down to who sees who first.

Also played Daqing Oilfields and its great. I must say its better than many original PR maps.

Tanks are incredibly powerful against infantry. I havent been killed by infantry once while in the tank. Even getting shot by infantry is extremely rare since there are almost never any rally points placed to request the AT kits.

Speaking of rally points, I don't like the new rules :)

Yeah, Daging Oilfields is great, and I don't like the new rules either.

Yeah, I played Daqing Oilfields yesterday and was blown away. This version is definitely the best so far. The sounds in particular are excellent, but the gameplay is also spot on. I honestly could not praise the devs higher given what I have seen this far. 8-) Nice work guys!

Stealth Clobber wrote:"Allah will have to wait. Now it's TEA TIME!" - British Guy when I asked him why he was killing civi's.
I remember seeing you and cheeseman last night on barash too. I loled when I saw that quote. I get a good kick out of the PR community alot.
Hey, btw, weren't you the one civiling who was trying to help us out, but we only ended up knifing you?

Not a fan of the new PR rules or of the civilian concept but for the rest the beta is awesomeness. The levels of teamwork displayed remind me of the good old days in 0.3 playing on the Gloryhoundz server. Please don't make PR 0.6 n00b compatible. :)

With everyone released I am more close to losing it and having sex with Project Reality!
