Will the ambulance make it for the civilan class?? there was a WIP van long time ago, but Is there any news on adding it??
In some cases, the worst thing the insurgents do is to turn something thats supposedly helping others, to making it a troop carrier. Unprovoked fire on a building or vehicle marked with the red cross or red crescent is a war crime, iirc. Not something that should be encouraged ingame, even if it was a realistic depiction of the current wars fought by the US and GB. I hope it's not.
So ONLY civilians should be able to drive the vehicle, and even they’ll need to request a Civilian Paramedics kit before they can drive it.To be able to get this kit, you need to spawn as a civilian and walk to the ambulance vehicle and press “T”, and then you need to chose “Civilian Paramedics kit”. Now hers the catch, this kit is limited to two players at a time and the kit will consist of:
I've seen a USMC guy team up with his friends on the Insurgent side for an IED attack. The USMC pilot would land the Blackhawk near his Insurgent friends, they'll stick a few IED's on it and he'll land the Blackhawk back at base. As soon as a few guys get in the helicopter, he would tell his friends on the Insurgent side over communication when to blow it up, and bam they would kill a few USMCs as soon as they got in the vehicle. My solution to this problem would be the same as how you'd get negative points for blowing up your own vehicles at present time. The only thing needed to be tweaked is the amount of negative points the person receives for blowing the ambulance up. And in most servers you'll get kicked for having a high negative score. So just like how the Devs plan to increase the punish you’ll receive for killing a civilian, they can simply increase the negative score of a ambulance vehicle getting blown up by either sides to something quite high, which would intimidate the players on both sides to think twice before they blow the ambulance up.Smitty4212 wrote:And what happens when a civi teams up with an insurgent who IEDs the ambulance? Civi parks next to tank, says "Now" on VOIP, insurgent blows it, and tank is gone with no penalty to anyone.
