[Help!] Problem with the resuolution on images in 3dsMax.

Well heres a picture that shows the problem:
Even thow Im using the same res on the "plane"as on the picture, Its looking f**ked up.
When I render the picture Its looking alright.
Now, how do I get the picture to look like it does in the render?

i always do them on a box never had that problem

You could put them as viewport background as alternative.

check the appereance texture size from your driver configuration
customize->preferences->viewports-> down the window "configure driver"-> then check the "macth bitmap size as closely as possible" boxes from "appearacne preferences". And you may choose too the biggest texture sizes from download and background texture sizes. Those would be 512 and 1024.
And if that doesnt work, resize your photo to in 1:4, 1:2.. or similiar scale.
For example 512X512, or 1024X512.
Doing this Max wont rescale the pictures pixels in anyway and making it blurry.
