I know it's a group of people working on a project but is it a clan too?

Not to my knowledge...
Personally I'm not in any clan. Then again I'm only a tester and not actually a developer.

Probably just popped into his mind, mate.
I remember some mod teams that used to have developer/tester-clans.

How about we expand the community then. I don't mean make everyone testers and Dev's. There are a lot of people here who are not directly involved, yet have a healthy interest in the mod and it's success. Maybe we could get some of us together sometime and go pubbing. If we can get access to TS it would be helpful ( we can sort something out ), we can get in game using PR prefixes and generaly promote good team play and the mod. This would give folks the chance to chew the fat as we say in Glasgow. It helps bring people to the mod and if the tournament proposal does go ahead we will have increased the fan base for that as well. It can only be good for the mod and the community. Anyone interested?

I agree, something like this really hasn't been done.
Create a "fans of PR" type clan. It would be run by the PR team and community members could join. I can help in setting up the site, logos, etc and if PR would be so kind as to let us use their TS server that would awesome. They could lock the rooms where they discuss & test :]

It would be nice to show some of the pubbies what you can achieve, by working as a team. If we can't get TS access from PR we can utilize one of the other comms utilities out there for a start, we can work on getting a TS server set up, once we get the team established. I use Skype at the moment for playing with friends, it's far from perfect but it would give us something to work with. A site will cost money, it's something to consider once we establish a sound group of members who will show up regularly to play and promote.
If anyone is interested in being a part of this, post up your name and time, sooner we get the ball rolling, the sooner we get some good battles started. It doesn't have to be official, it's really just going to be a group of PR enthusiasts taking the oppertunity to get to know some of the community better, whilst getting some serious competitive play time.

Or the devs and main testers be the Alpha and other people be the Beta? Just a random thought.

What do you mean by time? Timezone or what? In that case my zone is gmt+1.

Timezone and respective times available within that time zone. If we get an idea of the geographics of potential players we can better plan for matches and general get togethers. Until we get a TS channel set up, where people can log in and hang out, we will need to organise specific events to include the maximum players at any time.

I sent a registration form for an irc-channel on gamesurge(It's called #prfun). It's not TS, but it's quick, free and easy.
I urge everyone to get into it.
