Can you make the civilian model less obvious? In real life, the non-combatants don't go running around in green and red track suits. In reality, soldiers have to look carefully to see if they are hostile or not. Could you make the model less colorful and give it some similarity to the other insurgent classes?

Edit: I also think you should allow civilians to pick up other insurgents' kits, because an insurgency is usually a bunch of civilians who hold an uprising and take up arms to eliminate the infidel. Picking up a kit would be a metaphor for joining the uprising.

They are already annoying enough.

Ya today i had a great kill. i was in a pickup(these guys did not fire at me once) and i was firing at a Landrover with all spots manned . i was in close and they could see me green nice. I killed the jeep than moved in to the middle of the checkpoint. I saw a guy in prone and he looked right at me and than he looked away. THEN BANG,BANG,BANG,BANG,BANG,BANG(30 times more) and he was dead after first 2. But really they did not fire because could tell it was a civ. In real life they would fire 2 rounds past them and then if fire came back they took aim and fired.

In real life, unarmed civilians who have no intention of taking up arms usually run into enemy soldiers, getting out of their way to get shot. If faced with armed soldiers, most civilians would probably make it very clear that they're unarmed, so that they wouldn't get shot. Even insurgent sympathizing civilians wouldn't want to get shot on purpose, since working for the insurgents and provoking British troops wouldn't make them look like innocent civilian casualties (unlike the guys who put their hands up in the air and yell "DON'T SHOOT!").

How about giving the Brits a Civilian class that would be almost identical in appearance. There are civilians who support both sides. Then you could have civilian wars, they'd all be getting stoned.

Bit ot - but instead of starting another thread I thought i'd ask here. I was wondering is a penalty incurred for destroying a car driven by a civilian with no armed militants in it?

I think its anoying that the soldiers need to run from the civ beacuse the soldier can't kill him, but the civ can kill the soldier.

Ive never been stoned before, but I'm sure that she was bleeding a little. I don't mean to be disrespectful. Stones can and do inflict an enormous amount of damage.

Is it possible to have two different models of the civilians? Since each faction has either a light/heavy body armor model, can't civilians have a "light" body armor model and a "heavy" body armor model so that there are two different civilian models?
