Ok, this is my first real thread on the PR forums so be nice.
Ok lets start, i was thinking the other day on what kind of wepons i fought that the troops in PR should have (espacialy MEC, i don't think that G3's are a good choise for the middle easten coal. ) i started wondering why the PR team would give MEC the G3 and i just couldn't come up with a good answer. And another thing i was wondering why does the PR wiki say that Riflemen wear AR's with optical sights its only 2 of the 4 sides that use that (Britt. and PLA).

But fitst im gona whine about the G3, i think that it is much worse then the one in Vanilla Bf2 and don't understand why it is the MEC's primary rifle i would rather see a AK-74 or something that would acually be used by a Middle easten country (maybe an Israeli weapon....) maybe an AUG for riflemen (that is being used by several ME countrys) or a TAR-21 (israel).
And one little thing why don't give the rifleman M-16 a scope just like you did with UK and PLA?

PS: i have one little idea (don't know if you already have it in use thou ) wy not make so that the Aiming is getting worse if you use your sprint (jumping and running fast).

1. MEC uses the G3, since its reliable, powerful, easy and cheap to produce as well.
As a professional army, they wouldnt want to have some old AK-47s, which would make them look like some insurgents/terrorists

2. They wouldnt get Israeli weapons...Arabs hate Jews, remember?

3. MEC does have optics on Rifleman, you may havent played the 0.6 yet. Note, that M16 has zoomed in ironsights to reflect optics, though (lazy Devs..j/k )

4. You cant shoot while sprinting and while walking you are already inaccurate.

I can't really comment on the MEC using the G3 over other rifles. I know this has been discussed before though so try searching for some topics on why the Devs used it, you may find your answer a little quicker that way. The G3 is one of the best rifles currently in game, accurate, lots of stopping power and on full auto deadly at close range, not sure what parts are worse?

As for the optical sights, the MEC know have the scoped G3 the USMC are the only ones without a rifelman with optics. It is currently a work in progress and will most likely be included in the 0.7 release of PR. I believe the current work around for this is that the USMC rifelman has iron sights with a 4X zoom to even things out.

As for the aiming being affected by the stance and movement I'm almost positive that it is. I'm not sure by how much it is effected but your accuracey goes out the window if your moving and firing.

The thing that okay's the use of the G3, is unknown to common people the G3 and G3 variants are fairly common in Middle Eastern Countries. And even if it wasn't, the MEC force is completely made up from EA's [we won't comment on the status of their] mind. And the dev's are pretty much free to mix whatever they want into the MEC force. Granted they won't it's just that fact.
