1. Open the .zip with WinRAR or a similar program.
2. Execute the .exe
3. Follow the setup instructions and choose your Battlefield 2 folder, if necessary.
4. Once the install is done, enjoy!

if its a .zip it will most likley have a .exe inside. just exstract hte .exe, then run the setup, and it will install it into the correct path etc. If its not a exe and just a "pr" folder or something in side, come back and say and we can go from there.

The final step and probably the most crucial to a sucesfull PR instal is to click on the player guide icon installed along with the PR icon. Reading through this will make your time with PR much, much.... much better.
Welcome and enjoy.

Don't get discouraged when PR seems like a pair of shoes filled with nails, to enjoy the mod i believe.. no, i -know- you need to be part of a good squad. Which can be hard to find sometimes.

PR can be really confusing and frustrating. Even experinced players can get a headache when a new release comes out.
The player guide helps in this area but as others have said if you can find a good squad you will see what the game is all about. Keep playing until you find a server you like and keep an eye on the names of players you liked playing with. I always scan the squad lists to see if I recognize any of the names before joining.
