hi,

for some unknown reason i often spawn at points which i haven't selected. i select my teams rally point, i spawn at main base, i select to spawn on an apc i spawn at a rally point or some other odd combination. i select my next spawnpoint before i die also with same results.

it's very weird and somehow i still haven't figured out what happens and essentially it's rather frustrating.

any help?

If your *squad* does not have a rally point, then selecting a different rally point will respawn you at main base. If an APC is destroyed after you select it, but before you spawn, a similar thing will happen.

thanks for the reply, but i am aware of that. if there's something i do wrong i hope i find out quick, it is really annoying.

Your squad needs a rally

I thought if your selected spawn was destroyed or killed (ie: SL ) then you just didn't spawn and only an incorrect RP spawn would deposit you back at main.
BlueSkunk, just so it's clear, you choose to spawn on an APC and instead spawn on your squad's RP ?
If that is the case then it's very weird.
If it is choosing another squad's RP and in the interim your RP is destroyed then you should arrive at the main.

Sometimes if there are many rally points together, its difficult to know which one to spwan on.

El_Vikingo, that is not my experience of 0.5. Last night I spawned on a different squad's rally point, by choice.

I think it was changed for .6

in 0.5 you can, happens all the time and is handy however i dont know if its changing
