is it possible to drop only 1 bomb ?

in vbf2 you have to to drop all 2 bombs,then reload 1 bomb,drop that bomb and reload 2 bombs-then you have the "drop only 1 bomb mode"

this is nearly impossible in PR because you will be bombed/strafed by enemy pilots at your base (if they are in the air) OR killed by enemy infantry sneaking around at the airfield.

dropping 2 bombs is a waste because 1 of them will not have the accuracy and you mostly could not outtake a non damaged tank with 1 run (2 boms),but you could ,if you can drop 1 bomb and then on the second approch the second bomb.

it is also very boring that you can do nothing to support your groundpounders-if the enemy planes were shot down-as to circle 10 minutes till the enemy is back 2 air.

i tried it a few times to reload/repair at our airfield only to get an rpg into my arse.

I'm not sure if you have to land to repair and reload at the moment but I'm sure on of the Dev's told me the were planning to work that in at some point.

1 bomb at a time would be nice but I dunno if this kinda things hardcoded cos it wouldn't surprise me, I'm not sure if dumb fire bombs are usually dropped in this manner though.

Drop the Bomb and quickly change weapons that way you'll drop one.

but it should not be so difficult to make,because the a-10 can also drop only 1 bomb.

It's the way people have been doing it for millenuims, and you're saying it's useless.

No, you see you need to drop some bombs on some bad guys and then land (because thats where you get more bombs). Then, when you have 1 bomb you take off. Then, when you try to drop a bomb, you will happily discover that you can drop them one at a time. This allows you to lovingly expose your million dollar aircraft that takes 20 minutes to respawn to twice as much fire as normal. The best part is that it takes 2 direct hits to kill anything important. Which means that single release is pointless, and so are using unguided bombs .
