Man, I've seen that video so many times it's not even funny anymore.

I don't know, it's up to the DEVs, but personally, I think it would be useless with the view distance BF2 has.

Well, actually, laser is an acronym meaning light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. So it has an "s".

Anyway, if we get helis with wire/laser guided missiles *cough*lynx*cough* they should have sights like this.

Well done Bob thats right though that is not what happens inside a laser really. The name laser is a modification of MASER, an earlier form that used microwaves instead of visible light. In a LASER the light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation is not occuring in its true sense.
