Suggestions for tanks

Id like to see the ability to make your own holes to be able to be dug in with your M1A2 or T90. Like this

or make an bulldozer so the combat engineers can dig them for you anywhere.
Also I think a large open map like Al Basrah, but flat and barren with a small village here and there, and a central highway in the middle of the map would be cool. Like this, and add a smoldering chassis of a destroyed tank and BTR here and there.... also it would be cool to have a FOB as the USMC and Army main base, and have Apache AH64Ds and Cobras for support. Which I think I saw the AH64 was coming later in the new updates for the MOD... Correct me if Im wrong, but this is what Im looking for....
Also for maps with close quarters combat and the insurgents have access to alleys while utilizing the RPGs to ambush HUMVEES and M1's etc. etc. Id suggest incorporating the M1A2 TUSK into the mod. Rising Conflicts did it quite well, but if you dont know what the TUSK is... TANK URBAN SURVIVAL KIT, currently M1s in Iraq have the added on ballistic armor on the sides, and remote turrets. But only a select few have the mods, as it is slowly making its way to the battlefield for each crew, basically the TUSK improves the survivability of the M1 from close quarter battles and RPGs fired from point blank range... But here it is...

I cant find on any Defense websites of the TUSK bein dropped. On this website it says already several kits have been shipped to Iraq, dated as of May 16th 2007. I cant really see the government canceling a much needed improvement that would greatly benefit our troops in battle, but then again that is the government I am talking about haha....

TUSK Kits Off to Iraq
May 16, 2007: Two years after it was first proposed, the U.S. Army is shipping TUSK (Tank Urban Survival Kit) to Iraq. The kit is a collection of additional features for M1 tanks, which make them more effective when fighting in urban areas. Many of the items in TUSK have been added to tanks over the last two years, as they became available.
The upgrades include armored shields, for the 7.62mm machine-gun on the top of the turret. This machine-gun is normally operated by the 120mm gun loader. The tank commander operates the other gun up top, a .50 caliber machine-gun. The gun shield is transparent ballistic glass, so the loader doesn't have his vision blocked. This is important for street fighting.
The loaders machine-gun is also equipped with a thermal sight, making it more deadly at night. There is also a .50 caliber machine-gun being mounted on the main gun, so the 120mm fire control system can be used to fire the machine-gun, instead of 120mm shells.
Other components of TUSK are reactive armor panels for the side and rear of the tank, to provide added protection from RPGs. There is also slat armor panel protecting the engine exhaust outlet of the tank from RPGs. There is also a 1.5 ton belly armor kit, which can be installed in two hours, and provides additional protection from mines and large bombs. Enhancements are provided night vision of crew members. There is also a telephone added to the side of the tank, so that infantry can more easily communicate with the crew when the crew are all inside the tank. The current TUSK kit costs about $400,000 each and takes about twelve hours to install.
Additional TUSK items are in the works, like a rear-view camera for the driver and CROWS, a system that allows the commanders .50 caliber machine-un to be operated remotely, while the tank commander is inside the turret. This is particularly useful if the tank is taking a lot of small arms fire.

Anyway, dozer blades that can dig holes for tanks are impossible, as BF2 terrain is not deformable. On some maps there are pre-built tank bunkers and where there arnt there are usually plenty of crests/craters/undulations/wrecked viechles/etc to put your tank in a hull down position.
If you want a highway of death type map, I believe that a DIY policy is currently operating, so learn how to map, or convince one of the mappers its a good idea.

Well I wasnt really lookin for a HoD type map, I was lookin bascially for an Al Fallujah type map with a road instead of sand haha. I would DIY, but Im clueless when it comes to making maps with the BF2 map maker....

I don't want to be the one saying this but the TUSK thing has been sugested many times before.
As for the map, I've always thought that would be a good idea, because it would be like urban combat although it isn't urban.
The bulldozer wouldn't really be necessary as BF2 is always in a combat situation, and there would be no time for digging holes. Apart from being Hardcoded of course.
But we could develop some ideas from there (?)

more or less the systems that are on the abrams today, are what the guys in the motor pool can put together themselves. like the cages on apc's to stop rpg's was all made there, and the like. just inginuity in the face of battle.
That said, the map you would probably want would be kashan desert. giant view distance, alot of armor and air support, mass desert wasteland. big tank fights usually, or great spots to hull down in on the ridge and just drop enemy tanks as they come in to take out your guys. will be coming out in .6

Id rather see the tanks be able to plow through chainlink fences, small brick walls, or even any type of brick walls

first two suggestions sounds decent but the third just screams to me
OMGORDZ!!1 M1A2 PRANK CALLZ!!11
but back to being serious, its not a bad idea but its just giving more mad shit to the US, imo the other factions need abit of a boost, though you could counter this with just equipping the M1A2 with this stuff on insurgent maps, but then whats the point of doing all this work just to make the US tank a bit more awesome?
my 2 cents
