Hey I am new here, and I did a fourm search and looked in the "already Suggested suggestions thread" and was surprised to see that no one suggested the M40 Sniper rifle. I'm sure some of you have had to of realized that the M24 that is for the Sniper Kit in PR is the wrong rifle. The M24 SWS is used strictly by the United States Army http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M24_Sniper_Weapon_System as wikipedia says and offically on other sites as well. Using the M24 for the USMC sniper in project reality is very unrealistic as the Marines strictly use the M40. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M40_%28rifle%29. If this was already realized and being considered for a future release I apologize I was unaware. I just thought it probably should be suggested though.

As a suggestion to making this rifle, its just a different weapon model as it uses the same magazine(no round modifying etc, so either editing the M24 model to look like the one in the wikipedia pictures or finding a M40 model would be great. I can provide some pictures if needed of it.

Well as I know this is a pretty manditory suggestion(fractions using the right weapons for realism as PR has done) I hope it is considered. Heres some pictures for ideas and proof. Thank you very much for considering my suggestion.

I'd love to see the camouflage-painted barrel, though...

w00t I've seen it in action in .6 and often been temped to TK for it (never done it though) 'cos I never held one in my gunhappy hands...

it is hot, especially in kashan desert, which sound unnervingly like kazachstan, wawaweewa its a very niice!

Knew about it to begin with, suggested several times before and forthcoming, so this thread is locked. Please do a search before suggesting in the future, but thank you for knowing something about the equipment specific to different services; the USMC isn't the only US service represented in game, though.
