what do you think... using the wrench instead of the knife as close-combat-weapon

Why use a wrench when you have a knife. Getting stabbed in the throat is going to be more effective than getting hit in the head with a wrench.

Been suggested before, and stabbing someone is better than smacking someone, espeically with body armor. Whats worse, a stab or a boo boo

Now the shovel on the other hand...

show me a confirmed wrench kill by US forces and you can have your wrench attack

It doesn't have to kill right-out. But getting hit in the face with a wrench has got to hurt, right?

Its a decent idea, I mean in you need to kill someone close up in real war you use whatever you have to to defend yourself. Like the medic with the shock paddles. But in place of the knife no that would not be realistic. Its a decent idea but probably not worth the devs time with all the other stuff they have to do.

This is the 4th worst idea I have ever heard. Sorry.

Well, if they're going to include being dazed due to being clocked in the head with a wrench, they might as well include being jolted due to being zapped with the defibrilator....(also a goofy idea).

In truth, an engineer doing work should have a perimeter set around him by his squad.....or is this too realistic for ya?
