Does PR (on ABR servers) use the same award system that vBF2 uses or not? I was wondering because I haven't got the basic sniper badge on several rounds when I got a lot more than 10 kills as a sniper. I was however, playing as an Insurgent and picking up a sniper rifle in Al Basrah and so do these count as sniper kills?
I think some awards should be changed for future releases because for example the Meritorious Unit Ribbon is ridiculously easy to get with the new scoring system.

Well, the ribbon is easy to get but PR wasn't supposed to be with rankings/awards...

Purple Heart for using a TOW against an insurgent on Basrah, man Ill never forget that,

Custom weapons,vehicles, stuff don't work with ranking.
