Just wondering what happened to all those brilliant little walls you had up on the rooftops near.....
well, all over the rooftops 0604?
I guess there was some logic as to why you removed them,
just wondering what the logic was?

Mmmm and the plaza flag looks interesting,
should be able to give it a good testing tonight.

duckhunt made it, But I'm the one whos been sepnding god knows how many hrs over the last few versions tweaking it for lag etc, and since duckhunt went off to the marines its been my job to finnish the map off, along with all the other maps including kashan etc...

I removed the walls for lots of reasons.

1. the colour etc of the walls did not suit the buildings atall, also the walls where "flickering" though most of the walls which made them look really dogey as they where needing to be near the edge of the building, and also where too high to be snapped to the top so you had to sink them into the building which only left you with bad effects.

2. lightmaps and performance of the map was decreased by them, by deleting them I removed over 2,000 objects from the map, which dont take a mapper to work out that is going to only give a + side on performance.

3, they did not work "that" well.

all in all, it was best to remove them.

Very " falluhaj-like "

If you don't mind my suggestion could you make the North VCP a little more merlin accessible, it's already possible to land, but the ramp screws up when you land on an incline.
Basrah is still my favorite map!
good luck on finishing .6

Open and close the ramp after you've landed.
