I'm plaining making a map just for training with clans or just by yourself...

Do think this is a good idea?

I say it is a great idea as the new member of the =E= clan.

I'm sick of people releasing training maps only for clans, when the 'n00bs' who don't know how to play (see the people who would actually need this) aren't gonna be in a clan and so the entire thing loses its use.

Well, Ive seen clan servers running custom maps...theres one in the Sandbox mod mappacks collection..pretty much just some roads, and a small village to "train" for clearing houses, etc...

i would LOVE a training map for my clan i was making one with a shooting range and stuff but i got bored and stoped

Where are all these training maps that you are sick of people releasing? Seriously, I want to download them, do you know what they are called or where I can download them?

learn how to make maps befor making maps for clan training - make the training map in Rhinos tutorials and really understand all the tools in the editor.

i would love for u to make 1!

well just tell me what you want and ill do it! well for starters my maps named Operation_Training ... very original lol also its base on a town blocked off by buildings so theres no escape.its really going to be my 1st proper map so if your clan doesn't like it just give me some feed back please i would like to hear from you!!!

oh, ok well theres ALOT my clan would need in the map for training.

1 rifle range (the red explosive tanks as targets[lots of them])

2 tank range (for targets have humvees and what not)

3 jet/chopper range (then lots of tanks that spawn on the range for them to practice on.

4 some type of M.O.U.T. shoot house (or just a small city surrounded by walls)

theres more, but i cant think of it all without my clan leader here

Try to replicate the training courses from Americas Army. A rifle range, automatic rifle range, pistol range, anti tank range, CQC range, sniper range. Plus add vehicle ranges.

rifle range !!!!! with different ranges for sniper rifles and normaly rifles !

22ndMEU has a training map that they have been running for a while. Go over there and ask for some advice. They have a passworded server running it 24/7.

there advice will probaly be not to threaten backing out on a deal they made when dealing which me.

Well im new at making maps but i think i have it down to a fine art and if i do get stuck theres always the pr community willing to help , also i really really want to join the pr mappers but 1st i have to prove myself to them

hows the map comming along?,
cos i could with 1 ....for m clan..
