i think it should be the united nations that would be cool seeing united nation forces in they blue hat you could do it like the Insurgents mod if the insurgents attack the united nation forces they work in the same way as the civs but they can defend them self what do you all think

I assume you are suggesting a peace keeping force. A non-offencsive reactionary force? The UN team can not fire until fired upon? Please elaborate on the engagement rules and game mode so I can get a better understanding of the idea before I put it down Seriously I don't follow.

A peace force doesn't engage in combat like an army does, or so I assume, so there would be no point in having the UN as a faction, unless you would want to guard an embassy for 1 hour.

You could make them NPC bot-like characters who watched while the Brit's shot civi's on al Basra....make the server messages reflect it..... like " The UN has voted on a resolution to penalize you 10 points for killing a civilian.

I believe that he is suggesting that for insurgency maps the conventional forces have an additional UN class which the insurgents would be peanalised for killing.

Well if this is added then we also need the imbeded reporter kit. You know to spin, glamourize, polarize, paint with one wide brush, condem, state incorect facts etc.

But really, it's just a matter of what you are used to.
I read a lot so while I can't tell you the rules of grammar I just know what belongs where.
Spelling on the other hand can be important to understand, in a timely fashion, what a person is trying to say.
The other thing is that the worst spelling and grammar seems to come from people who would consider English to be their primary language.
Ever since I busted on someone for spelling and grammar and found they are on their third language I tend to STFU on the subject.

But to stay on topic, the UN troops would do what exactly ?
Would they be spotters for the Brits like they were spotters for Hamas last summer ?
The Brits can't shoot the civi's and the insurgents can't shoot the UN ?

I don't think having the UN as a playable Force would work. They are a peace keeping force and only fire back if fired on, but so are the Americans/British in Al Basrah, but they still shoot first if they see an enemy. Also, if they have guns and are treated like a civilian for the British Team, then they'd be abused to no end, unless they have a penalty for killing someone then the guns would make no sense what so ever.

Unless they were an Add-On class that worked like a VIP for a Defense or Extraction mode, IE: They have to get from Point A to Point B and a UN Member is the only one that can drive something, or it was the pickup kit that had to be taken back, but other than that, no sense what so ever.

Aye, on an earlier thread i kind of made a twat out of myself (Armed, if you say i make a twat out of myself on every thread ill hunt you down ) by commenting on someones spelling, i wasnt aware they were Dyslexic, ive kind of stfu on the subject as well.

It is simply about clarity. If I have to read a post three times just to find out where a sentence starts or ends my blood pressure goes up. And it's really not that difficult to at least put a point behind a sentence.

yea but i could read the guys post perfect and ppl were saying grammer !!! and spelling !!!! , when mabye they should learn to read.
