Last night I installed and played PR for the first time.
I just want to congrat all the hard workers, as you have made a great mod!

Apart from BF2 (and all the boosters etc), I play BOM-SF and Desert Conflict.
Project Reality is different, far out the best graphics, and it feels 'real'.
Best features i.m.o. are no UAV, the HAVE TO teamwork and the kits assignments (although I have no clue yet how it works ).

Only downpoint is the ranking, as I made it to Lance Corporal, but its nowhere to be found on the stats page link I pressed on the PR site.
I made a search on the forum here, and found out that the ranking is a bit dodgy. Am I looking in the right direction for my points?

each server has their own specific ranking system, it shows who plays there often, who is a good player in that particular server and also gives the rest of us a reason to hunt people down in a server

i "think" we will be doing a ranking and scoring overhaul sometime soon...will be fun to put everyone back to zero and start a bit if a feud...haha...

look forward to it anyway i believe its on the "to do" list...

I would love a new ranking system that would erase all my deaths from the learning curve in the beginning.
But stats and rank are not as important in PR because other than bragging rights rank does not earn you any extra benefits like in vBF2.

Man you are so right. After a friend of mine told me about PR and then when I tried it, I can´t go back to playing bf2v. Really great work that you guys have done.
Two things though. First the thing I really love about PR is that as infantry with a head shot on the enemy you can get a one shot one kill. Not like in bf2v where you had to empty out a whole mag till someone died.
The second thing I would like to mention is that, I have been seeing that more and more "smacktards and noobs" (I think that´s what they are called ) are coming to the game looking for the D/k ratio and not team playing, or playing the mod the way it is supposed to be played is because of points and rank etc. So if that dissapeared I think all the non team workers, conventional bf2v players and everyone who ruins the game for us wouldn´t appear as often or at all for that matter.

Anyway my two cents and Thanks for the great mod and to all the guys on the servers who makes my gaming evenings a blast

Yes, I'm not supposed to tell anyone this, but soon a commander will be able to unlock the tac-nuke after 10,000,000 headshots with a rock!

Yeah Indeed the best mod I've ever tried. Great speed on .6 torrent aswell, I've been looking for a mod that puts some more realism into BF2 and now I've found it...Thx PR Team!
