Equipment Spawning

I found an old WIP thread of Al Basrah and I came upon this post by duckhunt.
DuckHunt wrote:OK, Ive had a little idea right,

I think I can make it so the jets at the US airport spawn FROM the last MEC base, only when the MEC have that base and make them US jets that only US can get into, basically just spawning in other teams base REALLY far from their parent flag. (the first for US to attack, the one with the AA guns) sooo....once the US have captured that base, on the edge of the city, they can blow up the AA guns, but...the jets wont spawn anymore. So the US wont have airsupport further into the battle in the city. get it?

start of match>>>

US jets + Armour at Airport >

US attack "MEC defence flag" using armour and jets

MEC defend "MEC defence flag" with bunkered mobile AA, Armour and stat TOW misiles>

US capture "MEC defence flag" US jets no longer spawn at airfield>

Ground Battle continues through city, with armour on both sides, and US helicopter support, MEC still have spawning Moblie AA at home base.

So? thoughts?

Also, Im thinking the entrenched MEC mobile AA guns never respawn once destroyed, but there are 3 of them. Not counting the mobile mobile AA that will spawn at MEC home base.

THIS IS A EXAMPLE
Basically what he means is that the US jets are set to spawn when the INSURGENTS own the flag. So at the start of the round, the insurgents own say facility. US air support bombs it and troops move in, the flag is now USMC and the A-10 goes *boom* into a tree, the A-10 will NOT respawn because its now US owned and its tied to the INS flag.

I think this is a awesome idea by duckhunt that could simulate air support. Thoughts?

GB vs. Ins and not USMC vs MEC...that was probably before Insurgent faction was added in 0.4...

I posted a thread on OT with 3 short vids on WIP Basrah...do search!

Stop getting tied up with the damn technicality of someone suggestion when using the wrong army for the a map, especially since which faction is irrelevant.

It would make sense, an enemy force with more ground under heir control would allow the friendly force to get their air planes and such to help them take some enemy land, but then when the enemy force is backed up against a wall, they aren't getting raped by 5000 pound bomb from a jet or a fist full of 2.75 rockets from a helicopter.

Why say it then? If its old and seen as how the British dont use Close Air Support jets on that map you said A10 not been able to respawn if you said choppers i could see were you are coming from but disabling jets when their are none...wtf

Who said this is just for Al Basrah....? Just because the example duckhunt used was on Al Basrah doesnt mean its limited to Al Basrah.

I used the A-10, USMC, Al Basrah ETC as an EXAMPLE.
